Incredibly light at less than 1.5 lbs !!!. Our steel version alternator bracket is only second to our Titanium version weights 15oz. This alternator bracket is intended for 3sgte or 5sfe use in an MR2. Tucks alternator closer to block for increased intake manifold and firewall clearance (something to consider with mk1.5 swaps and stock alternator location). Works for Celica Alltrac in power steering pump position. Will use 32" long belt. Smaller frame alternator can use 315k4 belt (31.5")
Please be aware you will need to maintain this bracket and insure all the bolts stay tight. Due to its lightweight and compact design it does not have any redundancy's like the large OEM bracket. The 3s is known for shedding alternator bolts and this bracket will not eliminate that issue.
