This is a Hybrid Racing RSX V3 shift box with an all new baseplate for over 2" of shifter drop. Intended for k series transmission use in an MR2 chassis with k20 rsx/dc5 transmission and shift cables. Requires rear wheel drive shift cable bracket.. Base plate is drilled for the chassis mounting you select. You can throw every mod possible at the stock shift box and it will never come close to how nice this box feels. This is a bolt in solution that clears the center console in SW20 use.. AW11 will need console trimming but this is as low as can be accomplished without cutting of interior sheet metal. The zzw30 version will also clear the center console as of 10/20/21. Shift Knob not included. Baseplate only option available for those who already have a v3 RSX box.
The box was designed using Stock RSX Cables. Has also been used with Hybrid Racing oem and race cables and Ktuned oem replacement cables. Box has been proven to work with stock cables with 5 or 6 speed box.
Note: K-Tuned RSX race cables are not factory cable length as they are designed to use their supplied bracket to compensate in an RSX install.
