SW20 '91-'99 MR2 trunk support mechanism. This support uses an over-center design to hold trunk in open position. Works great with lightweight trunks or those looking to eliminate the factory spring mechanism. Utilizes all stainless hardware. Requires some assembly and parts from existing support. We will be using these 2 pieces and the kit supplied by Hux Racing to build your awesome lightweight trunk support. With the supplied lock nuts and nylon washers, you can easily set drag on the mechanism.
Use hacksaw or cutoff wheel and make 3 cuts to achieve this result
